Korea’s food industry has grown at a speed of 7% per year since 2005. In addition, the popularity of Korean-made processed foods in the East Asian region, including China, led to a faster growth in food exports
Currently exports to Chinese-speaking economies have increased considerably.
The Italian food market is considered to be now ready to well receive some major “Brands” and products from the Korean Food & Beverage industry.
The industry is also looking to new markets worldwide for export, and Italy is considered among the top market to be developed. As a consequence, the Korean food industry is currently trying to prepare for an international development by diversifying product lines and developing new high added value products.
